Hello! I am Sarah, a UX/UI and Game Systems Designer. I graduated from the University of British Columbia with a BA in Psychology and Emily Carr with a certificate in Interaction Design.

I have worked as a game designer for 7+ years and have been in the games industry for over a decade. My design philosophy has always been about putting the players first and being intentional about my designs. My experiences in mobile games have taught me how to apply analytical and qualitative data to my designs and how to balance business and player goals while advocating for the player. I love the design process and enjoy crafting meaningful and unique experiences for players.

I find human behaviour fascinating and am always curious as to why we do the things we do. I love learning new things and am always on the hunt for a good book to enrich my knowledge. I strive to understand what drives us and enjoy finding creative solutions to problems.

When I am not obsessing over my designs or reading design books, I enjoy baking intricate cakes, brewing a good cup of coffee, trying new restaurants, and playing one of the many games in my backlog.
